Ceremony host: “There is always a special status for our people who remain and stand strong in the Palestine occupied in ’48, in their remaining [there] and standing strong and fighting, and their special role in defending their rights on the one hand and their people on the other hand, against the racism and the occupation. Now to an address by our people and political forces from the Palestinian Interior (i.e. Israel), which will be given by friend and fighter, Muhammad Barakeh, [Israeli Arab] member of [the Israeli] Parliament and president of the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality, please approach.”
