PA PM eulogizes terrorist recruiter and bomb maker: He will “live forever in the national memory”
“[PA] Prime Minister Salam Fayyad eulogized the deceased, [a loss] for the entire nation and homeland, Martyr (Shahid) of the prisoners’ movement, fighter-prisoner Maysara Abu Hamdiyeh. He offered his heartfelt condolences to the Martyr’s family, to the prisoners of freedom, to the prisoners’ movement and to the entire Palestinian nation in the homeland and the diaspora.
Fayyad said that he is certain that prisoner Abu Hamdiyeh’s role of struggle and his contribution to defending our nation’s cause and national rights will continue to live forever in the national memory.
Fayyad strongly denounced the continuing policy of deliberate medical neglect used by the occupation’s Prison Service against prisoners, the procrastination in providing the treatment they need and the late diagnosis of the cancer that spread through Martyr Abu Hamdiyeh’s body and through the bodies of many other prisoners.”

Note: Maysara Abu Hamdiyeh was a Hamas member who served life in prison for recruiting and training terrorists, preparing explosives for suicide bombings, attempted murder, and possession of weapons. He died of cancer while being treated at the Israeli Soroka Hospital in April 2013.
