Palestinian UN observer denounces Israel’s “systematic killing of prisoners” and the “assassination” of prisoner Abu Hamdiyeh

The delegation said in an announcement … that the Palestinian Permanent Observer, Ambassador Ibrahim Khraishi, sent a number of urgent memos to the relevant UN organizations in Geneva in which he denounced the assassination of prisoner Maysara Abu Hamdiyeh. He also warned against the continuation of these acts of occupation… that are liable to claim additional victims among the prisoners and detainees.”

Note: Maysara Abu Hamdiyeh was a Hamas member who served life in prison for recruiting and training terrorists, preparing explosives for suicide bombings, attempted murder, and possession of weapons. He died of cancer while being treated at the Israeli Soroka Hospital in April 2013.
