Fatah spokesman: Prisoners are “injected with diseases” and “substances that cause cancer”
PA TV broadcasts live from the funeral of prisoner Maysara Abu Hamdiyeh in Hebron and the funeral of the young men who were killed during the ensuing protests in Tulkarem over Hamdiyeh’s death. Hamdiyeh died of cancer while being treated at an Israeli hospital. Interview with Fatah spokesman of the South Hebron region, Maher Al-Namura:
Fatah spokesman Al-Namura: “What happened to him [Hamdiyeh] proves that there are dozens like Martyr (Shahid) Abu Hamdiyeh who were injected with diseases, substances that cause cancer, murdering them slowly.”
Note: Maysara Abu Hamdiyeh - Hamas member who served life in prison for recruiting and training terrorists, preparing explosives for suicide bombings, attempted murder, and possession of weapons. Died of cancer while being treated at the Israeli Soroka Hospital in April 2013.
