Al-Sayid, planner of suicide bombings that killed 35, celebrated on PA TV
PA TV’s For You program visited the house of terrorist Abbas Al-Sayid on his 47th birthday:
PA TV host: "Let’s go to the city of Tulkarem, with words, songs, and pictures with our brother and fighter prisoner Abbas Al-Sayid."
Al-Sayid’s sister: “A crime! This was a crime of a trial, not a trial… A vengeance trial, nothing more than vengeance because he’s Abbas [Al-Sayid]. Abbas, what did he do? Abbas is a son of Palestine and he defended his land and his cause. He didn’t do anything wrong."
Al-Sayid’s wife: "In all honesty he was a man in every sense of the word. A role model. Courageous. It’s enough that he’s good hearted and very, very, very compassionate."
Al-Sayid’s son: "Whenever I am asked ‘Whose son are you?’ I say with all the pride in the world that I am Abbas Al-Sayid’s son, and I am very proud of you, Father. You are a lion, and you are a hero.”
Al-Sayid’s nephew: "My uncle Abbas who makes me proud and [feel] glorious . Everyone I tell that I’m from the Al-Sayid family, the first question they ask is am I related to Abbas Al-Sayid, and I am thrilled that I have an uncle like Abbas Al-Sayid.”
