PA TV sermon calls for “men, women, youth, and elders” to engage in Ribat to “restore Jerusalem”
PA TV broadcast of the Friday sermon from the Al-Tashrifat Mosque in the presidential compound. Sermon delivered by Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash:
“How can we restore Jerusalem, how can we restore Jerusalem if we will not be the soldiers, if we will not be the ones who conduct Ribat (religious conflict/war defending Islamic land), if we will not be the ones who conduct Ribat over Jerusalem’s soil, if the nation will not join its leaders, its clerics, people, leaders, men, women, youth and elders? If it [the nation] will not come to Jerusalem, then Jerusalem will be lost.”
