Fatah honors terrorists, among them 5 killers serving life sentences

PA TV reporter: “The Fatah Movement’s Prisoners’ and Released Prisoners’ Commission in the southern districts honored 16 prisoners’ families. This number is only a small fraction of the prisoners who sacrificed for their homeland and their people.”
Representative of the Prisoners’ and Released Prisoners’ Commission in the southern districts, Tayseer Al-Burdini: “[This is an expression of] appreciation of 17 prisoners from western Khan Yunis. Foremost among them is brother and friend Saleh Al-Sha’er whom I referred to as a friend and fighter and who was with me when we were in the Fatah Hawks.”
Member of the Fatah Revolutionary Council, Muhammad Al-Nahhal: “This is a message to our brave prisoners who are in the occupation’s prisons. We tell them: ‘Your cause is a [matter of] Palestinian national consensus. You are this nation’s conscience. You are not alone in the occupation’s prisons.’”

Of the prisoners glorified on the poster, five are serving life sentences: Saleh Al-Sha’er, Salameh AbdallahMuslih, Midhat Faiz Barbakh, Atiyyeh Salem Abu Musa, and Tareq Khaled Al-Tabsh.

Salameh Abdallah Muslih – Serving a life sentence for the murder of Reuven David on May 20, 1991.
Midhat Faiz Barbakh – Serving a life sentence for stabbing his Israeli employer, Moshe Becker, to death on Jan. 21, 1994.
Atiyyeh Salem Abu Musa – Serving a life sentence. He and accomplice Hazem Shbair beat Isaac Rotenberg to death with an axe.
Tareq Khaled Al-Tabsh – Serving a life sentence for his part in the Ramallah lynch – the October 2000 lynching of two Israeli reservists.
