PA TV cooking show erases Israel
From the PA TV program Palestine this Morning:
PA TV cooking show host Abbas: “Palestinian cuisine, it has a unique characteristic in that it is divided into three groups: We have the cuisine of the Northern group, Northern Palestine, meaning, the Arabs from the Interior (i.e., Israel).”
PA TV host: “Could it have been influenced by Lebanon and Syria?”
Cooking show host Abbas: “Yes. It was influenced by Lebanon and Syria. We have the central [region] cuisine that was influenced by the West Bank and Jordan and we have the Southern cuisine that was influenced by Gaza and Northern Egypt.”
