Ramallah governor refers to Israeli cities as “cities of Palestine occupied in 1948”

“District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh Dr. Laila Ghannam called on citizens to make use of their [entry] permits to visit our lands and holy places in Jerusalem and in the coastal cities of Palestine that were occupied in 1948 (i.e., Israel). This, however, should not be at the expense of our national economy, and our money should not to be spent on raising the level of the Israeli economy, that brings bullets, gas bombs and many calamities on our people.”
