Fatah Facebook page glorifies female suicide bomber as role model for Palestinian women
In the photo: “Ayyat Al-Akhras – a name the Zionists remember well. We are proud of them, these are the daughters of Palestine”
Text: “There is no comparison – young women in the city of Ramallah curse Allah, the President [Abbas] and the [PA] Security Forces. Signs of patriotism can [‘really’] be seen in them. We leave the comments to you.”
Note: The photo shows "patriotic" Ayyat Al-Akhras as opposed to today’s "whores." Fatah is criticizing the young women who protested on Aug. 28, 2013 against renewed negotiations with Israel. Fatah was not taking issue with the fact that the women were protesting renewed peace talks, but with the coarse way that the protesters behaved. In addition, op-eds in the PA media indicated that the protest was directed against Abbas personally.
Ayyat Al-Akhras - the youngest female Palestinian suicide bomber (age 17). She killed 2 Israelis and injured 28 in a suicide bombing near a Jerusalem supermarket on March 29, 2002.
