PLO Executive Committee member refers to Israel as “the 1948 territories”

“[PLO Executive Committee member Wasel] Abu Yusuf stressed in a speech on behalf of the [PLO] Executive Committee that Israel must live up to its commitments and release the second phase of veteran prisoners on time, as a demand independent of and unrelated to the progress or continuation of negotiations. He also [emphasized] the need for it [the second stage of prisoner releases] to include prisoners from Jerusalem and the 1948 territories (i.e., Israel).”
