Terrorist Dalal Mughrabi, who led the most lethal terror attack against Israel, is still being presented as a role model by Fatah, and being endorsed as such by Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

In 1978, Dalal Mughrabi led a group of terrorists who hijacked a bus and killed 37 civilians, 12 of them children.

Recently, Abbas awarded $6,000 to a dance group named after terrorist Dalal Mughrabi:
"Head of [Palestinian] General Intelligence, Majed Faraj... announced that financial assistance in the form of a Presidential Grant would be given to the [dance group] Dalal Group for Popular Arts. The President [Abbas] granted it a sum of 6,000 US dollars."

Fatah, headed by Mahmoud Abbas, also continues to promote terrorist Dalal Mughrabi as a role model for youth. Fatah's Youth Institution for Young Boys and Girls, called "The Lion Cubs and Flowers," named a class for young children after Dalal Mughrabi.

Reporting on the graduation ceremony held for Fatah's Dalal Mughrabi class, the official PA daily explained:
"This class served as a tribute to the soul of the Martyr who carried out the coastal [road] operation (i.e., terror attack), Dalal Mughrabi."

Not only was the class named after terrorist Dalal Mughrabi, so was the regional sub-branch of Fatah that was among the organizers of the graduation. The secretary of "the regional sub-branch named after Martyr Dalal Mughrabi" Hala Abu Haq "gave a short presentation about Martyr Dalal Mughrabi's life, emphasizing her [Mughrabi's] devotion and efforts for the [Fatah] organization's activities."

A photo from the event posted on the official Fatah Facebook page "Fatah - The Main Page" shows that young children are being taught to see a terrorist murderer as a role model. The children are wearing hats with the Fatah logo.

Fatah regularly uses its official Facebook page "Fatah - The Main Page" to glorify terrorists.

Palestinian Media Watch reported that Fatah described the female terrorists Dalal Mughrabi, Ayyat Al-Akhras, Wafa Idris, and Darin Abu Aisheh as "Stars who sparkled in the sky" and "Stars in the sky of the revolution."

Earlier, Fatah praised the female Palestinian terrorist as "master of the world," specifically mentioning three notorious terrorists: Dalal Mughrabi, Ayyat Al-Akhras and Laila Khaled.

The following is the report on Abbas' grant of $6,000 to the Dalal Mughrabi dance group:

"Head of [Palestinian] General Intelligence, Majed Faraj delivered President Mahmoud Abbas' greetings to his sons, the students in the Deheisheh refugee camp and in all refugee camps in Palestine, and handed out gifts to the graduates. Faraj announced that financial assistance in the form of a Presidential Grant would be given to the [dance group] Dalal Group for Popular Arts. The President [Abbas] granted it a sum of 6,000 US dollars. In addition, a sum of 4,000 dollars was granted to the Ashkelon Group for Popular Arts."
