PA Minister of Prisoners' Affairs honors released prisoner, killer of 1
“The Fatah movement’s Salfit branch, in cooperation with the Ministry of Prisoners’ Affairs, the Prisoners’ Club and the Bruqin municipality, held a large rally in the town of Bruqin to honor the [Salfit] District’s released prisoners… Minister of Prisoners’ [Affairs] Issa Karake noted that President Mahmoud Abbas ascribes great importance to the prisoner issue …
At the end of the rally… the released prisoners received plaques as a token.”

Note: Mustafa Al-Haj murdered Frederick Rosenfeld while he was hiking near the city of Ariel in the West Bank (June 17, 1989). He was released in August 2013 as one of 104 terrorists whom Israel agreed to release to fulfill the PA's precondition for renewing negotiations.
