PA: Israel trying to “build the alleged Temple in place of the [Al-Aqsa] Mosque”

PA TV newsreader: “The [Palestinian] government said that the purpose of the recurrent invasions of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by settlers is to divide it between Muslims and Jews. This [is done] as part of the occupation authority’s frantic efforts to build the alleged Temple in place of the Mosque.”
Note: The PA considers any presence of Jews on the Temple Mount an "invasion." However, all visitors are subject to rigorous security checks by Israeli security guards before being granted access to the Temple Mount.
