PA Mufti: Israel has no rights to Jerusalem and there was no Temple
PA TV program Good Morning Jerusalem about the upcoming Jerusalem March (took place on Sept. 24, 2013):
The PA Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories Sheikh Muhammad Hussein:
“In any event, it doesn’t matter how much the occupation attempts to establish faits accomplis in the holy city, and tries to portray itself as having rights [to Jerusalem], [because] this is obviously a fictitious right and the occupation [Israel] is trying everything to make the world believe that it is somehow connected to Jerusalem… The Israeli occupation is trying to say that the Al-Aqsa Mosque [plaza] is a public plaza, and it is lying when it says that the Mosque is the alleged Temple or that it is located on the site of the alleged Temple.”
