Abbas representative Zaki: PA opposes foreign interference in Syria

“The official Presidential Spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeina, said that President Mahmoud Abbas’ special envoy, Abbas Zaki’s visit to Damascus was made as part of the discussion of our people’s difficult humanitarian situation in Syria… Abu Rudeina emphasized the President’s and the Palestinian leadership’s position, according to which there should be no interference in any Arab country’s internal affairs. He said: ‘Our strong position is that there should be no interference on the behalf of any one party, and we stress that our constant position is to honor the right of other nations to freedom, a dignified life and human respect.’”
