PA daily: Released prisoner says “rifle” is only “solution” for “obtaining the Palestinian people’s rights”
“Released prisoner Tawfiq Abu Na’im… described… the increase in the number of cancer cases and the drug experiments that are conducted on prisoners. He noted that this necessitates continuing to conduct negotiations in order to force Israel to fulfill its promises regarding prisoner releases, or to make use of the rifle which has demonstrated that it is the only solution for obtaining the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights.”
Note: In October 2011, the Israeli government agreed to release 1,027 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prison in exchange for Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who had been held hostage by Hamas for more than 5 years.
