Fatah official: Israel has “ethnic cleansing policy” against non-Jews in Jerusalem

“Member of Fatah’s Revolutionary Council and Secretary-General of the National Christian Coalition in the Holy Lands, Dimitri Diliani said that resistance, including all its [different] means, is a daily way of life for Jerusalem’s residents…
This [was said] during his meeting with several European Christian clergymen in occupied Jerusalem…
He explained that non-violent resistance against the occupier is the only way to stand firm in our city and to foil the occupation’s expansion plans, until a political solution is achieved…
Diliani stressed that the Israeli occupation does not differentiate between Christians and Muslims when implementing the ethnic cleansing policy, because its policy in this field targets anything that isn’t Jewish, and especially in the city of Jerusalem…
Diliani asserted that ‘We do not agree to our people’s being treated as less human than any other people,’ and said: ‘Our people have the right to self-determination and a dignified and secure life, just like the British, the French, the Italians and the rest of the world’s nations. We will not surrender to Israeli exploitation of the tragedies that befell the European Jews in the last century, whose purpose is to frighten anyone who supports the Palestinian right under the motto ‘Antisemitism.’”
