PA Foreign Minister at UNESCO: Israel steals archaeological finds and “falsifies history”

“[PA] Minister of Foreign Affairs Riyad Al-Malki said in a speech on behalf of the State of Palestine at the General Conference of the [UN’s] Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO, that… the Israeli occupation commits major transgressions of International law… and steals [archeological] remnants and cultural assets, and tries to falsify the region’s history and its historical facts by continuing illegal excavations in the Old City of Jerusalem and in additional places in the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem.”
