Governor of Jenin meets with released terrorists from Jenin, calls them “heroes”

In August 2013, Israel agreed to release 104 Palestinian terrorists from prison, which was the PA's precondition for renewing peace talks. The terrorists were released in stages, with 26 released on Oct. 30, 2013. Jenin’s District Governor met with the released prisoners from Jenin and glorified them as “heroes”:
“Jenin District Governor Talal Dweikat met yesterday [Nov. 21, 2013], in his office, with the district’s released prisoners, who presented him with [a description] of their special situation in light of developments that have taken place in their daily routine after their release.
Dweikat greeted the released [prisoners], and said that they are heroes who spent half their lives [in prison] for their country’s freedom and their people’s honor, and he wished them a dignified life among their family and people.”

Note: According to the list published by the official PA daily, the following terrorists released in October 2013 were from Jenin:
Muhammad Al-Sabbagh murdered three Palestinians because he suspected them of collaborating with Israel. He was sentenced to life in prison.
Hazza Al-Sa’adi and Othman Bani Hassan –murdered Yosef Eliahu and Leah Elmakais while they were hiking on Mount Gilboa (July 21, 1985). They were both sentenced to life in prison.
Ahmad Abd Al-Aziz, Muhammad Turkeman and Osama Abu Hanane – together with accomplice Osama Al-Silawi, they murdered Motti Biton and wounded his wife Molly near Jenin in October 1992. The three were sentenced to life in prison.
