Official PA daily claims Israel has a "policy of murdering young Palestinians," later admits that those killed were terrorists
After accusing Israel of murdering three young men in cold blood and rejecting Israel's claim that the men were on their way to carry out a terror attack, the official PA daily published an article which admitted in passing that the three men were members of an Al-Qaeda-affiliated organization. The newspaper did not issue a retraction of its earlier accusations.

“The occupation forces murdered three young men in the village of Yatta, claiming they belonged to a Takfir (i.e., the act of accusing other Muslims of heresy) movement! The Israeli military establishment and media platforms presented more than one version of the murder crime, which proves the Israeli version is confused and therefore unreliable…
Israel was established on the basis of a fundamentally racist concept of ‘a land without a people for a people without a land,’ and this is the notion that was emphasized by [Israeli leaders] Ben Gurion, Golda Meir, Moshe Dayan, Menachem Begin and Yitzhak Shamir, as well as their successors [Israeli PM Benjamin] Netanyahu, [Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor] Liberman, [Israeli Minister of the Economy Naftali] Bennet and others, who emphasized the essence of the deadly notion according to which ‘a good Palestinian is a dead Palestinian.’ Therefore, Israel’s security forces act to realize the policy of murdering young Palestinians, supported by false excuses for realizing their plan and bloody [ethnic] cleansing notion.”
Note: According to Israel, the three men were suspected of belonging to a Salafi (fundamentalist) Jihadist cell and of planning to carry out a terrorist attack in Israel or in the West Bank. They were killed during an exchange of fire with Israeli army forces. Two were killed in their vehicle, in which explosives and weapons were found. The third was pursued after trying to escape, and was killed.

“In south Hebron, the Israeli occupation perpetrated a heinous crime, which has been added to the list of its crimes, against three young men who were fired upon as they crossed an occupation force checkpoint in their car. They fell as Martyrs (Shahids) on the spot. It took only moments for the false Israeli version, which the occupation army maintained, to appear. According to it, these young men were on their way to carry out an operation (i.e., terror attack) against Israel.
As usual, the occupation’s false accusation is always prepared in advance to justify any aggressive, inhumane and immoral act that is carried out by its soldiers.”

“A senior Palestinian security official said yesterday [Dec. 1, 2013] that the PA had arrested 20 Salafi (fundamentalist) activists in the West Bank and denied they were connected to the Al-Qaeda organization… the official’s statements were made a day after the Mujahideen Shura Council in the Environs of Jerusalem, an Al-Qaeda-affiliated organization, reported that three of its members had been killed in the West Bank on Tuesday [Nov. 26, 2013], and declared the beginning of its Salafi-Jihadist activity in that area.”
