PLO Ambassador: PA security forces participated in the Intifada

“[Senior Hamas official] Musa Abu Marzouq’s article that was published yesterday [Dec. 18, 2013] in the Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper was a disappointment for anyone who was waiting to hear – some day – a voice from Hamas [coming] from a responsible place, careful to be honest with itself and others…
The [Palestinian] Authority did not open fire on any resistance. On the contrary, its people were [active] participants [in the resistance] – if not [its] initiators – on account of the occupation’s crimes. The [Palestinian] Authority’s headquarters were destroyed or subject to Zionist invasion. A group of our most noble and precious patriotic officers and soldiers were targeted and died as Martyrs (Shahids).”
