Praise for terrorist Dalal Mughrabi as role model for Palestinian women today
“The Qalqilya Philanthropic Women’s Union for Social Development held a political conference on national education in cooperation with the Political and National Guidance [Authority] in the Qalqilya District.
In the beginning of the meeting, Union Chairman Ruqya Nazzal welcomed Nimr Musa (Abu Alaa) [parentheses in source], Kamil Daoud and Khaled Al-Madani from the Political Guidance [Authority], and the [conference’s] participants. She spoke about the importance of educating women about national matters, because they are the caregivers and educators and it is their responsibility to raise generations [of Palestinians] with a national education and adequate knowledge regarding Palestine’s history and the Palestinian cause…
National Guidance Commissioner in the Qalqilya District [Nimr Musa] spoke about the history of the Palestinian cause, about the battles and raids in which the nations took part, about the battles that were waged on the land of Palestine in which victory was achieved and about the most important political decisions that deal with the Palestinian people… He spoke about Martyr (Shahida) Dalal Mughrabi and about the operation (i.e., terror attack) she carried out on the Palestinian shore in 1978 (she and a group of terrorists went ashore near Haifa on the Israeli coast, -Ed.), and stated that the [Palestinian] woman’s awareness must be raised, [the woman] who participates with the woman [sic] (the intention apparently is “the man,” as the writer praises women for fighting alongside men - Ed.) in activities and decisions, in order to promote Palestinian society and protect its rights and demands.”
Note: Dalal Mughrabi - led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history in 1978, when she and other terrorists hijacked a bus and killed 37 civilians, 12 of them children.
