Senior PA official: Released terrorist's wedding "is the wedding of the entire Palestinian nation"
PA TV program In a Fighter’s Homevisited the home of released terrorist Najeh Muqbil during a celebration of his release and his wedding.
Song at wedding:
“Najeh, oh Fatah man with the Kalashnikov (i.e., AK-47 assault rifle),
Only you please me, the man with the Kalashnikov!
Najeh, oh Fatah man with the Kalashnikov,
Move from neighborhood to neighborhood,
Teach them what rock throwing is!
Najeh, oh Fatah man with the Kalashnikov,
Only you please me, the man with the Kalashnikov!"
PA TV host to member of Fatah’s Central Committee Abbas Zaki: “You’ve come today to congratulate our released hero prisoner, Najeh Muqbil. What do you say on this occasion?”
Abbas Zaki: "Najeh's wedding is the wedding of the entire Palestinian nation."
Note: Najeh Muqbil participated in stabbing and murdering his employer, Israeli citizen Yaacov Shalom, on May 20, 1990. He was sentenced to 38 years in prison. He was released in October 2013, as one of the 104 terrorists whom Israel agreed to release to fulfill the PA's precondition for renewing negotiations.
