PA TV promotes violence during peace talks
PA TV songs during the peace talks:

A song promoting violence was performed at a recent Palestinian Authority event under the auspices of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and in the presence of the PA Minister of Culture. The song demands "pull the trigger... redeem Jerusalem, Nablus and the country":

Palestinian Media Watch reported on a longer version of this song that was broadcast on official PA TV in 2010. The longer lyrics included the words: "Zionists went out from [their] homelands, compounding damage and enmity. But the Palestinian revolution awaits [them]." It ended with the words: "This is the day of consolation of Jihad. Pull the trigger." The band that performed the longer version was later named a national band by PA Chairman Abbas.
Earlier this month, official PA TV broadcast another song glorifying the use of weapons. The song, "My weapon has emerged," has been aired and performed on PA TV numerous times. This new version shows footage of shooting and military training as well as pictures of Arafat and Abbas. It appeared on PA TV at the time of Fatah's recent anniversary in the beginning of January 2014.

The text "Fatah - the struggle and the building" was on the screen throughout the video and a text at the end states:
"Fatah - the struggle and the building - has restored the Palestinian people's national identity and returned Palestine to the political and geographical map."
A longer version of this song also includes words that glorify death:
"He who offers his blood doesn't care if his blood flows upon the ground.
As the weapon of the revolution is in my hand, so my presence will be forced [upon Israel]."
PMW reported that the National Security Band also performed this song at a recent memorial event under the auspices of Abbas.
