Palestinian official announces "launch of a popular struggle activity... a widespread, popular, peaceful Intifada"
PA TV News reported on the third annual convention for supporting the sick Palestinian prisoners. PA Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah attended the convention.
Chairman of the Prisoners’ Club Qadura Fares: “The announcement [which has been made] openly and clearly, of the launch of a popular struggle activity, which we, in keeping with our tradition, like to call a widespread, popular, peaceful Intifada (i.e., as opposed to the two previous violent Intifadas) – its success and spread are contingent on the participation of the Palestinian leadership from the highest echelons down to the last citizen.”
