Official PA: Terrorist died a "Martyr" when he placed an explosive in "the 1948 territories"
“[Jalal] Mahamid died a Martyr (Shahid) on February 8, 2002, along with Martyr Tawfiq Mahamid, as they were placing an explosive device in Umm Al-Fahm, which is within the 1948 territories (i.e., Israel).”
Note: Jalal Mahamid planned a double suicide attack in Israel with another terrorist, Tawfiq Mahamid, on Feb. 8, 2002. They entered Israel, but their vehicle exploded too soon and both were killed without harming anyone else. Israel transferred Jalal Mahamid’s body to the PA on Feb. 4, 2014.
