Suicide bomber's mother: "Praise be to Allah, she succeeded"
Al-Quds TV interviewed the mother of suicide bomber Ayyat Al-Akhras.
Al-Quds TV reporter: “At the end of March 12 years ago, Ayyat [Al-Akhras], who had turned 17, set out for her high school in the Deheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem to take her last test at the school. Instead of returning to her home, she went to Paradise.”
Mother of suicide bomber Ayyat Al-Akhras: “She told me, ‘I have a test, pray for me,’ – and I prayed that she would [do well] on the test. She really did have a test at the school; she handed in her test at the school, and [then] went to the big test. Praise be to Allah, she succeeded in both.”
Ayyat Al-Akhras - the youngest female Palestinian suicide bomber (age 17). She killed 2 Israelis and injured 28 in a suicide bombing near a Jerusalem supermarket on March 29, 2002. Israel transferred the terrorist's body to the PA on Feb. 2, 2014.
