Majdalani noted that the attacks on the [Palestinian] refugee camps [in Syria], the actions being carried out in them and the attempt to involve the Palestinians in the events transpiring in Syria, ‘are part of a plot to eliminate the Palestinian cause in order to serve the Zionist entity’s interests and cause Syria to abandon its established positions that support [the Palestinian cause].’”
