PA official glorifies killer of 3 teens

District Governor of Nablus Jibrin Al-Bakri: "These are heroes and they defend their cause, and they have a special place in the heart of the Palestinian people. Therefore they are honored as heroes should be honored."
Text on poster on Hanani's casket: "Palestinian National Liberation Movement - Fatah... escorts its Martyr Commander Habash Hanani to the Dark-eyed Maidens (i.e., virgins). [Hanani], who saturated the soil of Beit Furik with his blood in his heroic operation (i.e., killing 3 high school students) on the soil of the Itamar settlement."

Note: Habash Hanani was a terrorist in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades (Fatah's military wing), which has been declared a terrorist group by Israel, the US, Canada, the EU, and Japan. Hanani shot and murdered three students in an attack on a high school in the town of Itamar on May 28, 2002. Israel transferred the terrorist's body to the PA on Feb. 11, 2014.
