Fatah official calls terrorists who murdered 4 students “heroes”

Official PA TV News reported on the funeral of Muhammad Shahin Al-Darabi, whose body was transferred to the PA by Israel. Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki and District Governor of Hebron Kamel Hamid attended the funeral.
Muhammad Shahin Al-Darabi’s father: “We receive him today with a hero’s reception, and escort him to his biggest wedding.”
Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki: “These heroes, whether Al-Faqih yesterday or Al-Darabi today - they serve as a magnet for the Palestinian people. Therefore, the thousands who have congregated [here today] are indication and proof of our people’s refusal to kneel and surrender.”

Muhammad Shahin Al-Darabi was a member of the Islamic Jihad terrorist group. Along with Ahmad Al-Faqih, he infiltrated the Otniel Yeshiva (religious studies academy) in the West Bank and murdered 4 students on Dec. 27, 2002. Al-Darabi was killed in an exchange of fire with an Israeli army force that had been dispatched to respond to the attack. Israel transferred the terrorist’s body to the PA on Feb. 16, 2014.

Ahmad Al-Faqih belonged to the Islamic Jihad terrorist group.
