PA religious leader: Jews have no rights to Western Wall of Temple Mount
“[Sheikh Tayseer Al-Tamimi, former Chief Justice of PA religious court] warned of tomorrow’s [February 18, 2014] discussion in the Israeli Parliament on the subject of the bill to extend the sovereignty of the Israeli occupation to include the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, [noting that] if this bill, which is contrary to the law of God and to international treaties and laws, is passed, it will lead to a religious war…
Al-Tamimi added that ‘Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, decreed that the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is Islamic and belongs to Muslims alone… It is part of the religious belief of a billion and a half Muslims, and the Jews have no right to it. No party, no matter how much power and international support it has, can change this established fact by giving the Jews any right to it, or the right to pray in any part of it. The Al-Aqsa Mosque includes all its courtyards, foundations, skies, gates, domes, walls, and specifically, its western wall (Al-Buraq Wall), [parentheses in source], which is, after all, a part of it...’
Al-Tamimi said: ‘It is with great pride that we remember the attitude of President Martyr Yasser Arafat, of blessed memory… who refused to give the Jews any right to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.’”
