Play depicts Palestinian girl proclaiming, "I will die a Martyr on my land"
Official PA TV program A Creator and Time hosted director Muhammad Al-Qadi and showed a scene from a play directed by him, entitled “This far and no further” showing a confrontation between a Palestinian girl and Jewish settlers.
Settler: “If you talk [too] much and don’t leave this land, I will shoot you and take you to jail, understand?”
Palestinian girl: “Shoot, I will die a Martyr (Shahida) on my land, and who is left outside and not in jail; who is left outside of jail?”
The Palestinian girl sings a song (“My freedom, my freedom, my freedom”)
Settler: “Here are the Arabs, [but] where have the settlers gone? The Arabs will come and kill me. Rabbi! Rabbi!” [runs off]
