Palestinian official accuses Israel of "stealing original Arab antiquities, traditions and customs"

“The activities of ‘The History of the Land from Grandfather to Grandson’ campaign ended yesterday [February 27, 2014]…
[Deputy District Governor of Tubas and the Northern Jordan Valley Ahmad] Sa’adat expressed his appreciation of the work of all the institutions ‘that contributed to the success of the national campaign for the protection of the cultural and historical heritage of Palestinian people,’ noting that the occupation ‘is trying to steal this history and attribute it to the occupying state by stealing original Arab antiquities, traditions and customs. However, the persistence of the Palestinian people and the passing down of this heritage from generation to generation have thwarted the occupation’s plans.’”
