Chairman of the Prisoners' Club: "We are a nation that values its Martyrs"
Official PA TV Live broadcast a memorial ceremony for Muhammad Mahmoud Mubarak marking 40 days since his death, in the Jalazone refugee camp.
Qadura Fares, Chairman of the Prisoners’ Club: “When we stand here with the Martyr’s (Shahid’s) family, there is a message in this, that is proven by all the members of the Palestinian nation: We are a nation that values its Martyrs, is proud of them, values its prisoners, values those who bravely opposed the occupation, took up arms and went out to confront the occupation.”
Note: Muhammad Mahmoud Mubarak – a terrorist who shot at an Israeli army position on Jan. 29, 2014. He was killed in the ensuing exchange of fire with the Israeli forces.
