PA names forest after arch-terrorist responsible for the murder of 125 Israelis
PA TV broadcast footage from the inauguration ceremony of a forest named after arch-terrorist Abu Jihad. In the forest, the PA erected a monument with logos of the PA Ministry of Agriculture and the Municipality of Al-Shuyoukh and the following text:
"In the name of the merciful and compassionate Allah, 'And say [unto them]: Act! Allah will behold your actions,
and [so will] His Messenger and the believers.' (Quran, Sura 9:105, translation Pickthall)
The Martyr Abu Jihad Forest project was inaugurated under the auspices of [PA] Minister of Agriculture Walid Assaf and Hebron District Governor Kamel Hamid on Sunday, March 30, 2014.
This project was completed in cooperation with the Hebron Agriculture Administration."
Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir) - was a founder of Fatah and deputy to Yasser Arafat. He headed the PLO terror organization's military wing and planned many deadly Fatah terror attacks. These attacks, which killed a total of 125 Israelis, included the most lethal in Israeli history - the hijacking of a bus and killing of 37 civilians, 12 of them children.
