Exhibit honoring Martyrs at USAID-funded Palestinian university glorifies bus bombings
The Facebook page of the National University’s Islamic student group of An-Najah University in Nablus, a school funded by USAID, posted text and images from an exhibit they created:
Text: “The Promise and Loyalty exhibit – Martyrs’ Week.
The Islamic student group at An-Najah University put on an exhibit entitled ‘Promise and Loyalty’ as part of the Martyrs’ (Shahids’) Week events it organized [at the University]. [PA] Parliament Member Sheikh Fathi Al-Qar’awi, [female] Parliament Member Muna Mansour and Sheikh Abu Taha Al-Bashtawi were present at the opening.”
The following picture from the exhibit shows a model of a bus after a bus bombing:
Writing on moon above bus: “When you see the roof of a bus fly off – know that this is a Hamas operation (i.e., terror attack).”
