Official PA daily refers to Israel as the "1948 territories"

“Yesterday [April 10, 2014], the General Teachers’ Union of the Jenin [Fatah] branch and the [Israeli-Arab] Hadash faction in Majd Al-Krum, in the 1948 territories (i.e., Israel), honored 50 children of Martyrs (Shahids) from the [Palestinian] Security Forces and the Teachers’ Union.”
