PA minister honors murderers' families with plaques of honor
“Yesterday, [April 10, 2014] as part of [Palestinian] Prisoner’s Day events, [PA] Minister of Prisoners’ [Affairs] Issa Karake and District Governor of Salfit Issam Abu Bakr visited the homes of prisoners from Salfit [who are serving] life sentences and long prison terms exceeding ten years.
[The two] were accompanied by the Secretary of Fatah’s Salfit branch, Abd Al-Sattar Awwad, the Director of the Prisoners’ Administration in Salfit, Nadhir Al-Salkhi and a delegation from the [PA] Ministry of Prisoners’ [Affairs] in the district…
The visits included the homes of prisoners Ahmad Hussein Madi, Ahmad Al-Qader Salim, Bilal Abbas Abd Al-Fattah, Husam Abd Al-Qader Halabi and Sa’id Musa Shtayyeh, who are all serving life sentences…
During the visits, the District Governor of Salfit, the Minister of Prisoners’ [Affairs] and the Secretary of Fatah’s Salfit branch awarded the prisoners’ families plaques of honor, in appreciation of their resolve against the wrong done to them by the occupation, and Minister Karake promised to take care of all the needs of the prisoners and their relatives in the Salfit district.”

Ahmad Hussein Madi – a Fatah terrorist who is serving 2 life sentences and 25 years in prison. He and Bilal Abd Al-Fattah shot Avi and Avital Wolanski to death and wounded their three-year-old son in an attack in the West Bank on Aug. 5, 2002. The two had previously carried out a shooting attack in the West Bank in which one person was wounded on July 24, 2002.
Ahmad Al-Qader Salim – serving 2 life sentences and 25 years in prison for his role in the attack in which Avi and Avital Wolanski were shot to death and their three-year-old son was wounded on Aug. 5, 2002 in the West Bank.
Bilal Abbas Abd Al-Fattah -a Fatah terrorist who is serving 2 life sentences and 25 years in prison. He and Ahmad Hussein Madi shot Avi and Avital Wolanski to death and wounded their three-year-old son in an attack in the West Bank on Aug. 5, 2002. The two had previously carried out a shooting attack in the West Bank in which one person was wounded on July 24, 2002.
Husam Abd Al-Qader Halabi – was a member of Yasser Arafat’s Presidential Guard. He is serving 3 life sentences and 35 years for planning and providing the arms for the attack in which Avi and Avital Wolanski were shot to death and their three-year-old son was wounded on Aug. 5, 2002 in the West Bank.
Sa’id Musa Shtayyeh – a Fatah terrorist who is serving 2 life sentences and 17 years for providing the arms to the terrorists who murdered Mordechai and Shlomo Odesser on July 30, 2002 in the West Bank.
