PA TV: Israel "perpetrates a new Holocaust each day against our people"
Official PA TV News reported on Holocaust Memorial Day
PA TV newsreader: “Even as Israel commemorates the day known as Jewish Holocaust Day, it perpetrates a new Holocaust each day against our people; it persecutes them, discriminates and treats them with racism.”
[Photographs of Hitler and images from the period of the foundation of Israel (Ben Gurion, war images, etc.) appear in the background during the report]:
PA TV narrator: “Even as the Israelis commemorate Holocaust Day – which all human conventions denounce and condemn because it is contrary to the nature of all mankind – our people remember the holocausts and massacres committed by the descendants of the survivors of the Holocaust [perpetrated by] Nazi Germany. Israel has not learned the lesson from what happened to them and to other human beings. To the contrary, during its wars it carried out executions, murdered civilians, bombarded buildings with missiles, burned Arab villages in 1948 and set up detention camps. Between massacres, Tel Aviv established its control and occupation of this land, to compensate for its losses and for the suffering caused by Hitler’s Germany and the rest of the world, where they had been persecuted and discriminated against. The strange thing is that the occupation state copied these racist acts, and gave our people, the owners of this land, a taste of them, in order to prove historical fables and promises that exist in their extremist minds alone, about a land without a people for a people who never owned this land…
[Ben Gurion understood that the Palestinians would never accept the Israeli narrative, and therefore decided to suppress and defeat them time after time, to make them accept the Israeli narrative.]
Decades later, the situation has not changed, and Tel Aviv is still making our people taste tragedy – by oppressing the Palestinian people and undermining its awareness of its tragedy, in which Tel Aviv plays the part of the executioner; while it ignores its own tragedy, which occurred decades ago – the same tragedy that the world opposed – while it turns a blind eye to the tragedy of our people that stands firm on its land.”
