Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate signs labor agreements to protect workers' rights

“The Chairman of the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate [Abd Al-Nasser Al-Najjar]… said that for the first time in the region, the Syndicate has begun signing collective labor agreements with the official media institutions: the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation, the WAFA [official PA news] agency and the Al-Hayat Al-Jadida newspaper. Later on, it will continue signing them [the agreements] with private media outlets, to cement the rights [of the workers] and improve [their] work environment.”
