Fatah official: Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque are "facing a threat of Judaization on an ‎unprecedented scale"

Official PA TV News interviewed Fatah ‎Revolutionary Council Secretary-General ‎Amin Maqbul ‎
Fatah Revolutionary Council Secretary-‎General Amin Maqbul: “Jerusalem is ‎currently facing a threat of Judaization on ‎an unprecedented scale. The Al-Aqsa ‎Mosque is being subjected to division ‎according to times and places [for Jews’ ‎and Muslims’ visits to the Temple Mount]. ‎Jerusalem is in real danger; these are not ‎‎[empty] cries [for help] emerging from ‎Jerusalem, for there is real danger there, ‎everywhere in Jerusalem – at [the] Al-‎Aqsa [Mosque] and all the places in ‎Jerusalem that are undergoing ‎Judaization on an unprecedented scale. ‎This escalates [the situation] at a crazy ‎‎[rate], because of the occupation.”‎
This is clear, as we see desecrations of ‎the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound every day ‎‎– the last of which was the female dancer ‎who danced in the Al-Aqsa plaza – by the ‎Zionists, who are working to Judaize ‎Jerusalem.‎
Indeed, the next battle is the Jerusalem ‎battle – a battle which has actually been ‎‎[going on] all this time, and for which ‎Yasser Arafat died as a Martyr (Shahid) as ‎a result of his adherence to Jerusalem ‎and his refusal to give up a single piece or ‎grain of earth from the holy city of ‎Jerusalem. That was in accordance with ‎what happened and what was achieved at ‎the second Camp David [Summit].”‎

Note: “Physical division and [division] according to time,” refers to a law proposed in May 2013 and currently being reviewed by the Israeli Parliament, that would allow for both Jews and Muslims to pray on the Temple Mount. The law seeks to implement separate prayer times for Muslims and Jews at the site.
