PA PM: “Barbaric” Israel is waging “a war of annihilation against our presence on this land”

“[PA] Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah said that the ongoing Israeli aggression has turned into a war of annihilation against our presence on this land – as if the barbaric Israeli war machine were not satisfied with the dozens of Martyrs (Shahids) who fell during the devastating bombing of the neighborhood of Shuja’iya. He noted that 26 bodies have been recovered from the [ruins of the] Abu Jam’i home in Khan Yunis. In his speech, which was broadcast last night on Palestine TV, Hamdallah added: ‘Our people: Through your resolve and our national unity, we will rub the occupation’s nose in the mud and resist its failed and defeated army, despite the huge number of Martyrs and wounded and the extent of [our] losses. By revealing the crimes of the aggressor to the entire world, we will isolate it, besiege it and lead it to the defendant’s bench in the International Criminal Court where it belongs.’”

Note: This article was published during the 2014 Gaza war as Hamas was firing hundreds of rockets at Israel and as Israel was responding with Operation Protective Edge, which aimed at destroying Hamas' terror infrastructure and ability to launch rockets at Israel.
