Fatah and Hamas “stand as one”; Fatah will fight Israel alongside Hamas
Official PA TV reported on a Fatah rally of solidarity with the Gaza Strip in Nablus, and interviewed Husni Zalum, a member of the Fatah leadership in Nablus.
Husni Zalum, a member of the Fatah leadership in Nablus: “The first message is that we are united behind the Resistance – behind the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades (Fatah’s military wing), the Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Brigades (Hamas’ military wing), and the Al-Quds Brigades (Palestinian Islamic Jihad).
We, as national fighters, stand behind you, O fighters. We will be [there] for you. Everyone, Fatah’s popular and – I hope –military forces in the West Bank will form a rank behind you and with you. And until there is a strong, shocking response to each drop of spilled blood, we will not allow the resistance to rally alone. The whole [Palestinian] nation, the masses, all the national forces, all Fatah members in the West Bank – especially in Nablus – will stand behind this honorable resistance, which has rebuilt the one [unified] Resistance, and restored the respect of the homeland, and shattered the awe-inspiring [image] of the invincible Israeli soldier.”
