Fatah official says Palestinians are "using all available means": "rockets in Gaza, stones in the West Bank" and a "political campaign... in Cairo"
“Fatah held a rally in solidarity with Gaza, under the slogan, ‘We are all with the Resistance.’ The movement announced that it supports the resistance in all its forms, and rejects the ‘arrogance of the occupation and the genocide of the Palestinian people.’ Yesterday, after the evening prayer, Fatah brought approximately 3,000 citizens, including activists and senior officials in its Central Committee, to the center of Nablus… Fatah delivered numerous messages through Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen, expressing explicit and direct support for the Palestinian resistance wherever it may be. In addition, it saluted the members of the resistance in the Gaza Strip, especially the [Izz A-Din] Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing.
Muhaisen told Al-Jazeera Net at the end of the rally that... the nation is waging a campaign using all available means – whether rockets in Gaza, stones in the West Bank or demonstrations in the Palestinian interior (i.e., Israel) occupied in 1948, and in the diaspora.
He emphasized that the political campaign the Palestinians, united under the banner of the legitimate demands and rights of the Palestinian people, are waging in Cairo is no less intense than the military campaign… Muhaisen delivered messages to the Israelis – the ‘new Nazis’ – including implicit and explicit threats. He said that neither the first Intifada of 1987 (i.e., the first Palestinian wave of violence against Israel, 1988-1993), nor the second Intifada of 2000 (i.e., PA terror campaign 2000-2005) had resulted from an official decision, and that this was [also] the case of the present confrontations.”
