PA libels: Israel has had a “scheme” to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque since it set it on fire in 1969

“[PA] Minister of Waqf and Religious Affairs Yusuf Ida'is called on the Arabs yesterday [Aug. 28, 2014] to act seriously and internationally, through UNESCO and the UN, to bring about a resolution that would put pressure on Israel to stop its excavations in Jerusalem and at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. In an interview with the Awdah satellite channel, he added that ‘since the burning of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in 1969, the criminal occupation state has been developing a scheme to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque and erect the alleged Temple.’”
