PLO official: Israel “is the only source of tension in the region”
“PLO Executive Committee Member Hanan Ashrawi condemned today the abominable crimes of the Israeli occupation forces and the attacks it is preparing against our Palestinian people in the occupied State of Palestine… She said: ‘The occupation force is the only source of tension in the region. The fact that the world does not settle accounts with it and the immunity it enjoys will drag the entire region into a round of violence, for which it [Israel] will be chiefly responsible.’”
