Prisoners’ Commission releases details of salaries for single and married prisoners who served over 10 years

“In order to clarify the changes [made] to the salaries of the released prisoners included in the ‘regular salary system’ who have served ten years or more [in prison], we [hereby] inform you that the salaries in this category were calculated as follows:
Single men: basic [salary] of 1,500 shekels + 900 shekels
Married men: basic [salary] of 2,000 shekels + 900 shekels
This is a temporary system, [in effect] until the law is passed that will amend their situation and assign them fixed payments according to the salary chart clarified in the amended Prisoners’ and Released Prisoners Law.”
