Fatah's official Facebook page "Fatah - the Main Page" glorified suicide bomber Zainab Abu Salem, who murdered two Israelis. On the way to her attack, the Fatah terrorist from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades was stopped by two Israeli policemen. She then detonated her bomb, which killed the policemen and injured 30 others.
Palestinians have attached religious significance to the fact that although she was decapitated by her bombing her religious headscarf remained on her head:
"After the operation (i.e., terror attack) Martyr Zainab's head was severed from her body, while her hijab (religious headscarf) continued to cover her hair. With this she became the eleventh female Martyrdom-seeker (i.e., suicide bomber) in Palestine."
Fatah recently produced a video glorifying 9 female terrorists, among them Abu Salem, Palestinian Media Watch exposed. In that video Fatah showed the picture of her severed head lying on the ground. The following is the text of the Facebook post:
"From the memory of history:
The anniversary of the Martyrdom (Shahada) of Martyrdom-seeker (i.e., suicide bomber) Zainab Abu Salem of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, Fatah's military wing, is September 22. She was an 18-year-old Palestinian girl from the Askar refugee camp in Nablus.
The moment of her Martyrdom: The Martyrdom-seeker went to a bus station in the French Hill neighborhood, a settlement in Jerusalem. A Zionist Border Police soldier approached her to inspect the contents of her bag and then she blew herself up with an bomb she had in her possession.
She killed two Zionist soldiers and wounded 16 others.
After the operation Martyr Zainab's head was severed from her body, while her hijab (religious headscarf) continued to cover her hair. With this she became the eleventh female Martyrdom-seeker (i.e., suicide bomber) in Palestine. May she rest in peace."
