Ramallah governor pays respects to terrorists who killed 8

“The District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh [Laila Ghannam] visited several of the Martyrs’ (Shahids’) families in the district, and laid wreaths on the graves of the Martyrs of the Ramallah and El-Bireh district… Ghannam laid wreaths on the graves of the Martyrs of the Jordanian army and on the graves of the Martyrs of Palestine in the El-Bireh cemetery, and on the graves of the Martyrs of the Savoy operation in the Ramallah cemetery.”

Note: Savoy operation (i.e., terror attack) - In March 1975, eight terrorists traveled by boat from Lebanon to a Tel Aviv beach. They took over the Savoy Hotel and took guests as hostages. The next morning, Israeli forces attacked and killed seven of the terrorists. Eight hostages and three soldiers were killed by the terrorists during the attack.
